Entirely renovated in 2007. The living and dining rooms face the main street (a very large tree rises in front of those windows), and to the back you’ll find a nice view to the river over the roof tops.
It is located right in the heart of the historic centre, very close to the Castle, to the main Cathedral and to the old Alfama quarter. The famous 28 tram stops right at the doorstep of the building and leads you through the main quarters of Lisbon, including Bairro Alto, famous for its bars and restaurants.
To arrive here is very simple: you can take the 37 bus (the one that takes you to the castle) or the 28 tram (the one that takes you everywhere), for both get off one stop after the Cathedral. You can also walk from the subway stations Baixa/Chiado or Terreiro do Paço (5 – 10 min.). Or just take a taxi (from the airport: 8 – 10Euro).
